In a world where gods and mortals coexist, a young high school student named Godo Kusanagi finds himself caught up in a battle between two powerful deities. After killing one of the gods, Godo becomes the seventh Campione, a title given to those who have the power to slay gods. With his newfound abilities, Godo must now face the challenges that come with being a Campione and protect the world from problematic gods. But will he be able to handle the responsibility that comes with his new title, or will he succumb to the pressure?
