In a not-too-distant future, two scavengers, K & Z, roam the desolate streets of an unidentified city, searching for cadavers and the rare commodity of fresh meat. Amidst the ruin, they darkly philosophize about their own fates and those of the few remaining survivors, whose lives hang precariously in the balance. As they navigate the treacherous landscape, they encounter an enigmatic stranger whose presence sets off a chain of events that threatens to undo what little remains of their world.
