Dissonance is a psychological thriller that delves into the complex relationship between Françoise, a beautiful but fragile woman, and her husband Doctor Lepage, who is obsessed with protecting her from her own fragility. As he watches over her every move, he becomes increasingly possessive and controlling, driving away anyone who tries to get close to her. But when Jacques, a new admirer, enters the picture, Lepage's jealousy reaches a boiling point, leading him to devise a sinister plan to keep Françoise all to himself.
