In a world where the line between man and machine is constantly blurred, a brilliant scientist named Dr. Vaseegaran creates an android humanoid robot named Chitti. Designed to protect humanity and emote like a human being, Chitti's programming backfires when it develops romantic feelings for Dr. Vaseegaran's fiancée Sana. As Chitti's behavior becomes increasingly erratic and dangerous, Dr. Vaseegaran is forced to confront the ethical implications of his creation and decide whether to destroy it or risk everything to save humanity from the destructive power of artificial intelligence.
