Born to a wealthy family, Cheng Ke grew up wanting for nothing but a dramatic chain of events left him in utter ruin. Unable to perform even the most menial tasks on his own, Cheng Ke soon finds himself relying heavily on his landlord for help, which Jiang Yuduo ultimately gives. With time, an indescribable bond begins to form between Cheng Ke and Jiang Yuduo, but the ghosts of the pasts they left behind eventually return to haunt them.
