Spinal Tap II: The End Continues - Reviews

There’s lots of good stuff here, some witty reboots and reworkings of gags from the first film and sprightly update appearances from minor, half-forgotten characters currently residing in the “where-are-they-now?” file.

Rather than enriching or adding to the Tap pantheon, the movie is best approached as an exercise in nostalgia.

Despite some great lines and an inspired climax, the rock spoof’s sequel doesn’t come close to the comic genius of the original.
