...true-life disaster movie plays like a downbeat sequel...one-ups it with even more vertiginous, stereoscopic imagery of the highest place on Earth, using footage shot on the mountain along with cleverly selected lookalike locales.

Emily Watson is terrific as the base camp controller trying to manage the unfolding chaos, and it’s her scenes that pack the greatest punch, her face and voice a pitch-perfect portrayal of alarmed restraint.

Gripende, fantastisk filmet. Denne er laget etter tragedien som skjedde i 1996.

Skådisarna har det inte så lätt i den här filmen. De klarar naturligtvis av att matcha varandra, men det finns inget som kan rubba Mount Everest. Det är berget som har den egentliga huvudrollen i Everest.
