In a small, rural town, a widowed lumberjack's life is turned upside down when a film crew shooting a zombie movie asks for his help and increasingly relies on him. As he becomes more involved in the production, he finds a new sense of purpose and connection with the crew, particularly the young director who is struggling to find his footing.
