What is The Stopover about? 
Two young military women, Aurore and Marine, return from their tour of duty in Afghanistan and are given three days of decompression leave at a luxurious beach hotel in Cyprus. Along with their unit, they participate in group therapy sessions to address the psychological effects of their time at war. But as they try to relax and have fun, old habits and tensions resurface, leading to a night of drunken revelry and a dangerous encounter in the woods. The next morning, they must confront the consequences of their actions and find a way to move forward. Will they be able to leave the violence of war behind and find peace?
