In the coastal areas of Taiwan, a centuries-old ritual known as "The Rope Ritual" is performed to alleviate a powerful curse that resides on a rope used for suicide by hanging. The curse grows more sinister over time, and those who attempt to break it are said to face a horrifying fate. A young couple, hoping to make a viral video by streaming the ritual, unknowingly unleashes the curse upon themselves, and their lives are turned upside down as they struggle to survive the deadly consequences. Will they be able to break the curse and escape the wrath of the Rope Curse?
