The Missing Children

In the early 2000s, a chance discovery by an amateur historian exposed a dark secret that the Catholic Church had kept hidden for decades. The remains of 796 children were found in a septic tank at a former mother and baby home in Tuam, Ireland. Further investigation revealed that thousands of children had died under the church's care, and many were sold to American families for profit. This documentary tells the stories of some of the survivors and their search for truth and justice.
