The Lords of Flatbush

"The Lords of Flatbush" is a coming-of-age story set in 1958 Brooklyn, following four teenagers who form a tight-knit gang. They spend their days chasing girls, stealing cars, and shooting pool, but as they grow older, they must confront the realities of adulthood. Chico tries to win over Jane, a wealthy girl from the other side of the tracks, while Stanley struggles with the responsibility of marrying his pregnant girlfriend Frannie. Butchey, the smart one, hides his intelligence to fit in with the gang, while Wimpy looks up to Stanley as a role model. As they navigate their way through the challenges of growing up, they must also confront the harsh realities of the world around them. Will they be able to maintain their friendship and sense of identity as they transition into adulthood?
