The Little Matchgirl

"The Little Matchgirl" is a heartwarming and poignant animated short film set to the Nocturne from Borodin's String Quartet #2. The story takes place in pre-Revolutionary Saint Petersburg, where a young girl struggles to sell matchsticks on the cold streets during Christmas.
