The Lifeguard

The Lifeguard is a comedy-drama film that tells the story of a former journalist named Leigh London, played by Kristen Bell, who quits her job in New York City and returns to her childhood home in Connecticut, where she takes up a job as a lifeguard. She starts a dangerous relationship with a troubled teenager, Little Jason, played by David Lambert, who is much younger than her. As their relationship deepens, Leigh realizes she's falling in love with Jason, but their love faces challenges when Matt, played by Alex Shaffer, a friend of Jason's commits suicide. The film explores themes of grief and the complexities of human relationships, as Leigh must come to terms with her feelings and make a choice between holding onto her youth or growing up.
