"The Last Playlist" is a documentary that follows the journey of legendary record producer, Nick Silver, as he attempts to prove his relevance in the music industry after 20 years of obscurity. Diagnosed with a brain tumor that will leave him deaf in three months, Nick sets out to curate a playlist of up-and-coming singer-songwriters in Los Angeles. Along the way, he meets and mentors rising star, Mason Reed, and reunites with his long-lost love, adult film legend, Nina Hartley.
