As much as the new technology that prolongs our lives, and makes a film like ‘De Humani Dorpus Fabrica’ possible exists, there is a devastating truth about the vulnerability of the flesh that lingers.

...much of the film immerses us in an unknowable, unrecognisable world under the skin, without shape, without what Vesalius wanted to show us in the 16th century. It is an uncanny spectacle.

Nu är detta ingen skräckfilm utan en dokumentär, men i filmen, som är inspelad på fem olika sjukhus i Paris, finns det scener som kräver att man är åtminstone läkarstudent för att riktigt mäkta med.
