The Double

The Double is a movie about a retired CIA agent, Paul Shepherdson (Richard Gere), who is forced to team up with a young FBI agent, Ben Geary (Topher Grace), to solve the murder of a U.S. senator. The investigation leads them to suspect a Soviet assassin, Cassius (Brutus), who has a signature throat-slitting method. As they dig deeper into the case, they discover that Cassius has resurfaced and is systematically murdering the people involved in his wife and child's death. Paul and Ben work together to track down Cassius and bring him to justice while also confronting their own personal demons and uncovering secrets about each other's past. The movie is a thrilling and action-packed ride, full of twists and turns that keep the audience guessing until the very end.
