The Campaign

"The Campaign" is a heartwarming and hilarious film about an unlikely friendship between a humble tractor driver and a corrupt politician. When Mocanu's car breaks down in a small Romanian town, he is taken in by Viorel and his wife, who offer him a place to stay during the rest of his campaign. As Mocanu poses as a common man and wins the hearts of the townspeople, Viorel sees an opportunity to get a new tractor in exchange for his hospitality. But as the campaign heats up, the two men must navigate their differences and confront their own moral beliefs. Will their friendship survive the cutthroat world of politics?
