Sooriya Arana

In a rural village, a young boy named Tikira befriends a little monk who has come to live in the village with his elderly mentor. The monks bring a message of kindness and the importance of avoiding sin, but Tikira's father, Sediris, sees them as a threat to his livelihood as a hunter. As Tikira spends more time with the monks, he begins to question his father's actions and eventually stops hunting altogether. Sediris becomes increasingly hostile towards the monks, but ultimately realizes the error of his ways and seeks their forgiveness. The film is a heartwarming tale of redemption and the power of friendship, set against the backdrop of a rural Sri Lankan village.
