Television's budget answer to The Sting, produced as a pilot for a series that never materialised. John Davidson leads a cast of TV familiar faces through a scheme involving horse racing, bogus gold mines, and more baroque complications than the seventy-one-minute runtime can accommodate. Freeze frames marking commercial breaks disrupt the flow.
