In the depths of the ocean, a genetic experiment gone wrong has created a monstrous creature with the body of a shark and the tentacles of an octopus. As a group of unsuspecting passengers on a luxury cruise ship sail by, they are suddenly attacked by the rampaging Sharktopus, forcing them to fight for their lives in a desperate battle against the creature. But as the Sharktopus continues its destruction, the survivors realize that their only hope for escape may lie in the depths of the creature's own twisted genetic makeup. Will they be able to unravel the mystery of the Sharktopus's creation before it's too late, or will they become its next victims?
