In a small town, a young mechanic named Vele is struggling to make ends meet. When his father is diagnosed with cancer, Vele is desperate to find a way to pay for his expensive medication. In a bold move, he steals marijuana from some local criminals and uses it to bake a cake, hoping it will help alleviate his father's pain. To his surprise, the cake has a miraculous effect on his father's health, but it also attracts the attention of the criminals who want their drugs back and the nosy neighbors who demand the recipe for the "remedial" cake. As Vele navigates this precarious situation, he must confront the harsh realities of his country's healthcare system and the lengths people will go to for a chance at a better life.
