Salvador

"Salvador" tells the true story of a young man's quest for freedom and justice in a country ruled by fascism. In the last days of Franco's regime, Salvador Puig Antich, a bourgeoisie-born rebel (played by Daniel Brühl), joins a group of idealistic anarchists in their struggle against the oppressive government. They resort to armed bank robberies to fund their cause, but their actions spark a fierce response from the authorities. As the net closes in, Salvador's fate becomes entwined with that of his comrades, and their courageous fight for liberty becomes a powerful symbol of resistance against oppression.
