Pawankhind

Pawankhind is a historical drama that tells the story of a courageous rearguard last stand during a battle between the Maratha Warrior Baji Prabhu Deshpande and Siddi Masud's Adilshah Sultanate troops at Ghod Khind mountain pass near Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India in 1660. While Shivaji and his forces were besieged at Panhala fort, Baji Prabhu Deshpande and his 300 soldiers occupied Ghodkhind, blocking the path of Adilshah troops and allowing Shivaji to escape safely to Vishalgad. The movie portrays the bravery and sacrifice of Baji Prabhu Deshpande and his fellow soldiers in the face of an enemy with superior numbers, highlighting an important moment in Maratha history.
