Oray

Oray, a young Muslim, finds himself torn between his faith and his love for his wife Burcu after he impulsively speaks the Islamic formula for repudiation, 'talaq', during a heated argument. Despite still loving her, he is faced with the harsh reality of being divorced from her according to Islamic law. Struggling with his identity and sense of belonging, Oray must choose between staying with Burcu or conforming to the expectations of his community. As he navigates this difficult decision, he must confront his past mistakes and strive to become a better person.
