In the gritty streets of urban India, a young girl named Nina survives by her cunning and resourcefulness. With a keen eye and quick fingers, she expertly lifts wallets and purses from unsuspecting strangers. But when she's caught in the act by a compassionate woman named Yana, Nina's life takes an unexpected turn. Instead of reporting her to the authorities, Yana offers Nina a meal and a chance to see the world beyond her harsh surroundings.
