Mimosas

In the midst of the Moroccan Atlas, a group of travelers embarks on a treacherous journey to fulfill a dying sheikh's last wish: to be buried with his loved ones. Fearful of the rugged terrain, the caravaneers refuse to continue transporting the corpse, leaving two rogues, Ahmed and Said, to take on the task. Along the way, they encounter Shakib, a young man chosen for his spiritual knowledge, who joins them on their quest. As they traverse the unforgiving landscape, they face bandits, fragmentation, and personal struggles. The film alternates between two different worlds, one modern and one traditional, blurring the lines between reality and imagination. A meditative and visually stunning journey that explores the power of perseverance and the human spirit.
