Merantau

Yuda, a young Minangkabau man from West Sumatra, leaves his home to embark on a traditional coming-of-age journey called Merantau. He plans to teach silat in Jakarta, but finds himself homeless and caught up in a dangerous underworld of human trafficking. Yuda must use his martial arts skills to protect Astri, a young woman he meets, and her brother Adit, from the clutches of the ruthless crime boss Ratger. As he navigates the city's dark alleys and confronts his enemies, Yuda must confront his own demons and decide what kind of person he wants to be.
