Mekko

After serving 19 years in prison for a tragic mistake, Mekko finds himself alone and adrift in a world that seems determined to keep him down. With no family or friends to turn to, he makes his way to a Native American community in Tulsa, where he hopes to find a sense of belonging. Instead, he finds a dark undercurrent of evil lurking beneath the surface, personified by a man named Bill who seems to embody the worst of humanity. Convinced that Bill is a witch, Mekko turns to the ancient teachings of his grandmother for strength and guidance. As he confronts the evil that threatens to consume them all, Mekko must also confront his own demons and find a way to forgive himself for his past mistakes. Will he be able to rid the community of this malevolent force, or will it consume them all?
