Lorna's Silence

Lorna, a young Albanian woman living in Belgium, dreams of owning a snack bar with her boyfriend. To raise the necessary funds, she agrees to a sham marriage with a Russian man, but things take a dark turn when her husband's addiction recovery threatens the plan. Fabio, the criminal mastermind behind the scheme, pressures Lorna to kill her husband via an overdose. Moved by her husband's determination to stay clean, Lorna pleads with Fabio to hold off, but he refuses. In a desperate attempt to save her husband's life, Lorna fakes an abuse scenario and secures a divorce.
