Lords of Dogtown

Lords of Dogtown tells the true story of three teenage surfers from Venice Beach, California, who take their passion for surfing to the streets and revolutionize the sport of skateboarding. With the help of Skip Engblom, a board designer and surrogate big brother, the Z-Boys create a new style of skating that becomes a worldwide phenomenon. As their popularity grows, they start to compete in contests and win, gaining fame and recognition. However, as they become more successful, they start to drift apart and their bond as brothers is put to the test. The film features exciting skateboarding sequences and explores themes of friendship, success, and growing up.
