"Labor" is a documentary that follows Hanna, a young woman who travels to San Francisco and becomes enamored with the city's vibrant queer scene. She meets Chloe and Cyd, two sex workers who introduce her to the world of high-end escort services. Hanna is drawn to the easy money, but her desire to keep her new job a secret from her parents creates a sense of inner turmoil. As she navigates this complex and stigmatized world, Hanna must confront her own values and upbringing. Will she find a way to reconcile her new life with her old one, or will she have to make a difficult choice?
