Jungle Child

"Jungle Child" tells the story of Sabine Kuegler, a young girl who grows up in the heart of the Papua New Guinea jungle with her family, who are Christian missionaries. The family immerses themselves in the indigenous culture, but soon find themselves caught in the middle of a violent tribal feud. As Sabine forms a deep bond with a young member of the tribe, Auri, she must confront the harsh realities of life and death in a culture far different from her own. Through her experiences, Sabine learns the true meaning of love, family, and belonging.
