Groundhog Dave has emerged from his burrow to forecast the weather, but Bucketville has transformed while he was hibernating. The sweet scent of blooming flowers has given way to the smell of sawdust, and the sky is now cloudy with smog. Dave and his friends uncover a sinister plot by Mr. Whatnot, an anteater who has purchased the town with plans to convert it into a sprawling shopping center. Will Dave and his friends be able to stop Mr. Whatnot before it's too late?
