Green Card

Green Card is a romantic comedy-drama film about two strangers, Brontë Parrish and Georges Fauré, who enter into a Green Card marriage for mutual benefits. Brontë, an environmentalist and horticulturalist, wants to rent a perfect apartment with a greenhouse, which is only available to married couples, while Georges, an undocumented immigrant from France, needs to stay in the United States. They agree to a marriage of convenience, but their relationship becomes complicated when they are investigated by the Immigration and Naturalization Service. To avoid suspicion, they start living together and pretending to be a happily married couple. As they spend more time together, they start to develop feelings for each other, but their differences and quirks also create tension in their relationship. The film explores the themes of love, identity, and the complexities of human relationships.
