Finders Keepers

In this bizarre and hilarious documentary, a man's amputated leg becomes the center of a stranger-than-fiction feud between two men. After John Wood's leg is amputated following a plane crash, he requests the hospital return it to him, but instead, he receives his entire amputated leg, which he mummifies and stores in a barbecue grill. When the grill is sold at an auction, it ends up in the hands of Shannon Whisnant, who sees it as a way to fulfill his dream of becoming a famous television personality. A battle ensues between Wood and Whisnant over ownership of the leg, which leads to a series of absurd and hilarious events. Ultimately, Judge Mathis intervenes and orders Whisnant to return the leg to Wood, who successfully recovers from his addiction and creates a memorial to his father. Meanwhile, Whisnant continues to try and make himself a local celebrity, but ultimately decides that the barbecue grill is cursed and throws it into the ocean.
