In the fast-paced world of New York City, Eliza Welch (Alysia Reiner) is a stressed-out mother of two struggling to balance her career, marriage, and upcoming children's birthday party. She finds solace in her cocktail-fueled blog, where she vents her frustrations on the absurdities of modern motherhood. But when her husband's (David Alan Basche) estranged wife Karen (Christina Hendricks), a successful artist, enters the picture, Eliza's world is turned upside down. As the two women clash over their contrasting views on motherhood, they must confront their own insecurities and the harsh realities of bringing new life into the world.
