Thibaut Fismard from Munich has a hard time. His mother had married a Belgian engineer during the war, who disappeared immediately after the war. His mother raised her young son alone. Even at school and with neighbors, and later when looking for an apprenticeship, the fact that he was not German in the sense of the paragraphs stuck to him like a stigma.
