What is Defiant Souls about? 
Defiant Souls tells the story of Enrique Faber, a young Swiss doctor who arrives in Cuba in 1819 searching for his son who has been kidnapped by his aunt. While investigating, Enrique opens a medical clinic where he treats black people and slaves, earning him great success and admiration.
