In the lawless frontier of 1800s Texas, a former gunfighter (Cole Hauser) seeks to leave his violent past behind and start a new life with his beautiful bride (Jaimie Alexander). However, when he's forced to kill a bandit in self-defense, he finds himself pulled back into the vicious cycle of violence. The corrupt mayor (Stephen Dorff) of their town, who's also the bandit's brother, will stop at nothing to avenge his sibling's death and take control of the town. As tensions escalate, the gunslinger must join forces with a U.S. Marshal (Jack Kilmer) to rescue his kidnapped bride and face off against the mayor and his henchmen in a gritty, action-packed showdown.
