Dead Birds

In the midst of the American Civil War, a group of Confederate deserters, led by William, stage a bank heist and flee to an abandoned plantation house to hide. Unbeknownst to them, the house is cursed by the vengeful spirits of the farmer's family, who were sacrificed in a black magic ritual. As the night wears on and a thunderstorm rages outside, the group is terrorized by supernatural forces, leading them to turn on each other. In the end, only William survives, but he is transformed into one of the demonic creatures he and his companions had encountered in the house. The movie ends with two Confederate soldiers discovering the house and finding the gold coins William had dropped, leading them to investigate the cursed place.
