A haunting tale of love, obsession, and the power of photography. Stéphane, a renowned fashion photographer, is consumed by grief following his wife's sudden death. He finds solace in creating daguerreotypes of his daughter and muse, Marie, who must pose for hours on end, immobile and wearing an old-fashioned blue dress. When Jean, a young Parisian, becomes Stéphane's assistant, he falls in love with Marie and the two conspire to escape the photographer's haunted world. But as they try to break free, they discover that the daguerreotypes hold a dark and mysterious power. Will they be able to leave Stéphane's twisted world behind them, or will they become trapped forever?
