Cold of Kalandar tells the story of Mehmet, a man living in a remote mountain village in the Black Sea region, who is struggling to make a living for his family through animal breeding and mineral hunting. Despite his family's disapproval, Mehmet's hope is reignited when he learns of a bullfighting competition in Artvin. He sets out to participate but returns home lost and defeated. Through Mehmet's journey, the film paints a poignant portrait of a man's relationship with nature, animals, and his family, highlighting their struggles and hardships in the harsh mountain environment.
