Clockwise

Clockwise is a comedy film about Brian Stimpson, a punctuality-obsessed headmaster who gets elected to chair the annual Headmasters' Conference meeting in Norwich. Despite his meticulous preparations, Stimpson's journey to the conference becomes a series of unfortunate events, including mistakenly boarding the wrong train and losing the text of his speech. Determined to get to Norwich on time, Stimpson commandeers a student's car, unaware that his wife has reported him missing and the police are searching for him. The adventure continues with Stimpson and his student companion Laura, encountering various obstacles such as traffic police, a farmer's field, a monastery bath, and a stolen car salesman. Eventually arriving at the conference in a torn suit after a wild and chaotic journey, Stimpson delivers an improvised recount of his lost speech with a tone that mocks both the headmasters and the absurdity of his predicament.
