"Cinemawala" is a powerful drama that explores the struggles of an aging film exhibitor, Pranabendu Bose, who is fighting to keep his cinema hall from being demolished in the face of modern technology and piracy. His relationship with his son, Prakash, deteriorates as Prakash chooses to sell illegal DVDs instead of supporting his father's passion for cinema.
