In a dystopian Detroit, grand houses that once housed the wealthy are now homes of the city's most-dangerous criminals. Surrounding the area is a giant wall to keep the rest of Detroit safe. In a dystopian Detroit, a crime-ridden neighborhood known as Brick Mansions is sealed off from the rest of the city by a massive wall. Undercover cop Damien Collier partners with ex-convict Lino Duppre to take down drug kingpin Tremaine Alexander, who has gained control of a nuclear explosive and plans to use it to extort a ransom from the city. The two must work together to defuse the bomb and bring Tremaine to justice, while also uncovering a sinister plot by city officials to use the explosive to clear the area for upscale development.
