In the picturesque town of Willow Creek, a struggling writer named Grace returns home to find her first love Sean in a predicament. Sean is determined to save the historic ballroom, the Blue Moon Ball, from being torn down and replaced with a new development project. With the rare Blue Moon Ball just around the corner, Grace reluctantly agrees to help Sean write a proposal to present to the town council in the hopes of saving the beloved landmark. As they work together, old feelings begin to resurface and Grace finds herself torn between her career and rekindling a romance with Sean. Will they be able to save the Blue Moon Ball and discover a second chance at love in the process?
