In the heart of Brazil's Mato Grosso do Sul region, two disparate worlds clash as a group of indigenous Guarani-Kaiowá people, led by the determined Nadio, establish a protest camp on the edge of a vast farm owned by wealthy landowners. The camp becomes a symbol of resistance against the injustices of the past, and tensions escalate as the farm's owners and local authorities try to remove the Indians from their ancestral land. Meanwhile, a romance blossoms between Osvaldo, a young Guarani man, and Beatrice, a visiting Italian woman. Against the backdrop of this charged atmosphere, the two cultures engage in a metaphorical and ultimately physical battle over the land, culminating in a powerful and transformative confrontation.
