In the small town of Van Buren, Maine, two teenage friends, Dominic and Casper, dream of escaping their difficult lives and making a better future for themselves. While Dominic works hard on the local potato farm to save up for a car and a new start, Casper gets drawn into his outlaw father's drug smuggling operation across the Canadian border. As they take different paths, their friendship and loyalty are put to the test. Will they find a way to follow their dreams without sacrificing their bond?
