In the picturesque mountains of northern Portugal, a small community of farmers and shepherds continue to live in harmony with nature, despite the challenges of modernity. Through four seasons, we follow the lives of 49 villagers, including Daniel, a young shepherd who dreams of love, and António, a former emigrant who returned home. As they work the land and tend to their animals, they find solace in their traditional way of life and the support of their tight-knit community. But as the world around them changes, they must confront the uncertain future of their ancient traditions.
